Pharmaceutical Advice

Nasal strips are adhesive strips that work as a nasal dilator and support the opening of the nostrils to promote breathing. They are recommended when the nose is congested and causes snoring and makes it difficult to sleep.

Nasal congestion causes air to flow with difficulty from the nostrils to the throat, making it unable to breathe normally and causing mouth breathing. Sometimes, this air passing through the throat causes vibrations in the walls of the throat, producing snoring. It also causes pharyngeal mucosa dryness.

These nasal strips help to keep the front nostril open. They are usually placed directly under the nasal bone and support the expansion of this cavity and improve the flow of air through it.

These strips are often used as a remedy to help breathe at night and improve sleep quality. They are also recommended for athletes with narrow airways to improve breathing during exercise.

It is important to know that they are not a long-term solution to reduce night-time snoring, nor in certain situations such as a deviated septum. If in doubt, consult a healthcare professional.

They don't bother at all and give that little bit of more air flow that is needed to sleep or do sport. It's a very expensive product but it's worth 100%. The bad thing is that you have to position it well and the first time, if it doesn't hit well.
