Description

Esteve launches CortaGrip, a spray that combines the action of glycerol and trypsin, two active ingredients that help clean and disinfect the throat and mouth from all types of viruses and bacteria. This way, the cold is more likely not to spread.

The action of this spray is based on the coating and isolation of these areas through its formula. In this way, not only does it help to prevent the onset of a cold, it also helps to reduce and shorten it.

*The 7ml format is suitable for a cold.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Menthol is a compound extracted from plants such as peppermint (Mentha x Piperita) and can also be manufactured synthetically. As an ingredient in gels, creams and lotions for topical application, it has a well-known cooling effect, as well as being a mild antiseptic and analgesic. These properties make it suitable for mitigating joint and muscle discomfort in the context of exercise or daily wellness.

It is also used as an ingredient in cosmetics that can help to refresh and soothe the itching caused by eczema or dermatitis. In hair products, such as shampoos, it provides freshness. And in the oral health category, it is often present in toothpaste and mouthwashes, as it will contribute to a fresh breath.

In case of allergy to the substance, chronic respiratory diseases, and in young children, do not use products with menthol and consult a healthcare professional.
