Mylan Autotest VIH® is the first HIV self-test to be carried out at home. This easy-to-use self-test reliably detects HIV infection after up to 3 months from a drop of blood. The test looks for the presence of HIV antibodies and provides a result within 15 minutes.
This kit contains a self-test, a diluent pad, a testing device, a bandage, a moisture absorber, a support, a disinfecting wipe and a compress.
Instructions for use
Read the instructions carefully.
When the result is negative, only one strip appears in the control window.
When the result is positive, two bands appear in the control window. Contact your doctor.
If no strips appear, it means that the test was not performed properly or that it did not work.
If it happens under 48 hours, one must go to the hospital immediatly: in some cases, treatment may be offered to limit the risk of HIV infection.
Be careful, the AIDS test only detects HIV infections older than three months. It is therefore necessary to repeat the test three months after the last risk.
