Description

Did you know that one of the best ways to properly develop your baby's oral cavity is to use a suitable pacifier? That's why SoftVinex® silicone teat dummy has created an ideal accessory to help your child grow strong and healthy, thanks to an ultra-flat, symmetrical and adaptable teat that perfectly mimics the shape of the mother's nipple. One of the main properties of this Suavinex® pacifier is that it incorporates silicone wings into its nipple, ideal to prevent baby's malocclusion, improve the condition of his little mouth and reduce the pressure generated by the suction. In addition, thanks to the fact that the nipple is inclined about 15º, this pacifier allows the tongue to adopt a correct and natural position, thus favouring a pleasant and comfortable sensation inside the mouth. BPA-free.*Pacifier available in different models depending on the pharmacy stock.*Colour or design may vary depending on availability. *The colour or design may vary depending on the stock available from the pharmacy serving the order.

Instructions for use

• Before using the soother for the first time, it is advisable to sterilise it with boiling water for 2 minutes, squeeze the nipple to remove the water and let it air dry.
• Repeat sterilisation if the soother gets dirty or falls to the floor and always once a day to eliminate any bacteria that may have accumulated.
• Place in the baby's mouth to soothe him/her, to help him/her fall asleep. If you are not breastfeeding the soother reduces the risk of sudden death syndrome, as it decreases if the baby suckles regularly.

Pharmaceutical Advice

When choosing a soother, remember that it will always depend on your baby's acceptance. One of the things to look out for when choosing a soother could be material: latex (rubber) or silicone.

Latex is an 100% natural product, amber in colour and has a soft and elastic texture that most resembles the feeling of the mother's breast. It is a hygroscopic material, meaning it absorbs water and retains odour. It is a natural material therefore it wears down faster than silicone. It is recommended for infants who already have teeth, from 6 to 12 months.

Medical silicone is a transparent white chemical product. It is a durable material and does not absorb odours or flavours. Its size does not change with use, although it may adopt the colour of the food it comes into contact with. It is less resistant to biting and pulling by the baby, so it is usually recommended for new-borns, from 0 to 6 months.

It is advisable to replace the soother with a new one every one or two months and/or discard as soon as it shows signs of deterioration such as: changes in colour, alterations in shape and/or material deterioration.

It is important to note that sterilising the soother every time the baby uses it is not necessary unless it falls to the floor or gets dirty. In cases when sterilising is not available, you can simply wash it under running water and avoid cleaning it with your own saliva as it may contain antibacterial substances.
