Description

An ointment that helps in case of constipation and digestive problems. As a topical use, emollient, anti-inflammatory and nourishing, especially indicated in dry and rough skin (dehydrated). Widely used in hair treatments to give strength, shine and softness, and for massages. It is extracted from the fruits of the Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis. The oil obtained is of a bright golden colour of great quality and rich in vitamins of the B group and minerals. The most abundant essential fatty acids are oleic acid and linoleic acid.

Pharmaceutical Advice

To prevent constipation, it is important to maintain a good water intake and eat a balanced diet, rich in vegetables and fruit, as well as whole grains to promote bowel regularity. These foods provide both soluble and insoluble fibre, both of which are necessary for the digestive system.

Exercising regularly is also advisable. Fibre-rich food supplements or plant extracts can also provide additional support. On the other hand, laxative medications (oral or enemas/suppositories) can alleviate occasional constipation and provide fast relief. These medications are not suitable in certain situations.
