Reducer to optimize breast milk expression

Description

This nipple reducer allows to reduce the size of the nipple to make it smaller and therefore suitable for small breasts. The size is 21 mm in diameter. This flexible silicone insert is placed in the tunnel of the standard breast shield. It will reduce the tunnel diameter to 21 mm to optimize breast milk expression when breasts are very small. The tips fit all types of breast pumps of the brand.

Instructions for use

To choose between breast shield sizes, a space of at least one millimetre between the nipple and the walls of the tunnel should be observed. Instead of opting for the correct size, it is essential to wear a larger breast shield. On the contrary, a breast shield that is too small causes cracks and pain. In addition to that, the amount of milk expressed is less. For this reason, the nipple should be measured after a feeding or pumping action. Usually, the diameter increases by 3 to 4 millimetres after each feeding or pulling.
