The cinnamon tree, known as cinnamon tree, (Cinnamomum zeylanicum or Cinnamomum verum J.Presl) is an evergreen tree, 10 to 15 meters high, from Sri Lanka. Its inner bark, obtained by peeling and rubbing the branches, is used as a spice. In addition to flavouring and giving flavour to the many recipes that can be prepared in the kitchen, it also has health benefits, in addition to using less or no salt or sugar depending on the case. Among the healthy characteristics are benefits for the digestive system, inappetence and dyspepsia.
