Description

They are white chia seeds Bio that come from the Salvia hispanica plant, cultivated more than 4000 years ago in central and southern Mexico by the Aztecs, who already had knowledge of its effects and applications.

The name "chia", derived from the word fat in the indigenous language, is explained by the fact that the chia seed contains a large amount (up to 25%) of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential omega 3 fatty acid.

The presence of soluble fibers allows the seeds to absorb up to 7 times their volume in water.

The chia seed behaves as anti-inflammatory, hypolipidemic, hypotensive, cardiac tonic, antioxidant, laxative, demulcent, digestive, depurative, vitamin and remineralising.

Instructions for use

Whole: Add to bread and confectionery, breakfast muesli or midday and evening salad.

Ground: Add to smoothies, combine with fruit juice, in (plant-based) milk, yogurt.
