Quinoa is a seed that allows us to be consumed as a cereal, so it is also known as pseudocereal. It is an Andean plant originated in the surroundings of Lake Titicaca, in Peru and Bolivia. The name of this plant in Quechua language, chisiya, means mother grain. This product is a herbaceous plant that grows both at sea level and on mountain tops above 3000 m, as it resists all weather conditions. The Incas called it "the mother of all seeds" and considered it a gift from the gods. Biotona Quinoa is cultivated 100% organically in Peru and is harvested after 4 to 5 months of growth. The quinoa grains are always dried at a low temperature. Quinoa, which is gluten-free, is rich in protein and essential amino acids. Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Certificate: BE-BIO-02.
