Hygiene set for baby's first days in hospital

Description

Chicco Hospital First Days Together Kit 1 Unit is a set that contains everything you need for your baby's first days in the hospital.

It contains a pack of 60 absorbent, breathable cotton pads with antibacterial action. It also contains 4 units of elastic mesh panties, specially indicated for postpartum. Thanks to their soft, absorbent material, these panties are perfect for use in case of stitches or caesarean section, and they are highly breathable. They are disposable and designed for single use only.

This set also includes a 100ml soothing cream to moisturise and soothe the nappy area during nappy changes. Its formula contains 10% Zinc Oxide, a component that helps to create a protective barrier on the skin. Panthenol helps regenerate the skin barrier for greater protection. It is hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested on sensitive skin

The Chicco set includes a 200ml cleansing gel for body and hair that helps to gently and delicately cleanse the most sensitive skins. It is formulated with oats, which helps to keep the skin moisturised with a neutral pH, which prevents irritation, ensuring the balance of the baby's skin. The kit also includes the Physio Todogoma Silicone +0m soother, which is specially designed by orthodontic experts and contributes to the correct development of the palate and is perfectly ergonomic (0% Bisphenol A).

Finally, the kit includes a pack of 72 Baby Moments cellulose wipes that help to gently cleanse the baby's skin. They are enriched with aloe vera and chamomile to refresh and moisturise the skin when changing nappies. They are also useful for cleaning hands and face and are suitable for sensitive skin.

*The kit includes: 60 cotton pads + 100ml soothing cream + 4 disposable underpants + 200ml body and hair cleansing gel + Physio Todogoma Silicone +0m + pack of 72 Baby Moments cellulose wipes.

**Hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested product set.

Instructions for use

Cotton wool pads:

Use to clean or dry delicate areas.

Soothing cream 100ml:

  • Apply to clean, dry skin in the nappy area.

  • Spread with a light massage to encourage absorption.

Disposable underpants:

  • Use and apply like regular cloth panties.

  • Discard after use.

Body and hair cleansing gel:

  • Apply a small amount to the palm, moisten and massage into the baby's skin. Rinse off.

  • It can also be used in its diluted version, adding a few drops of the product directly into the bath water.

Physio Todogoma Silicone Soother +0m:

  • Before using the soother for the first time, we recommend sterilising it in boiling water for 2 minutes, squeezing the teat to remove the water and leaving it to air dry.

  • Repeat sterilisation if the soother gets dirty or falls on the floor and always once a day to eliminate possible bacteria accumulated through use.

  • Place in the baby's mouth to soothe them, to help them fall asleep and/or in case of not breastfeeding to reduce the risk of sudden infant death, as it decreases if the baby sucks regularly.

Baby Moments cellulose wipes:

  • Use to clean the baby's nappy area, face or hands.

  • Discard after use.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Remember that it will always depend on your baby's acceptance when choosing a soother. One of the things to look out for when choosing a soother could be material: latex (rubber) or silicone.

Latex is a 100% natural product, amber in colour and has a soft and elastic texture that most resembles the feeling of the mother's breast. It is a hygroscopic material, meaning it absorbs water and retains odour. It is a natural material therefore it wears down faster than silicone. It is recommended for infants who already have teeth, from 6 to 12 months.

Medical silicone is a transparent white chemical product. It is a durable material and does not absorb odours or flavours. Its size does not change with use, although it may adopt the colour of the food it comes into contact with. It is less resistant to biting and pulling by the baby, so it is usually recommended for newborns, from 0 to 6 months.

It is advisable to replace the soother with a new one every one or two months and/or discard it as soon as it shows signs of deterioration such as changes in colour, alterations in shape and/or material deterioration. It is important to note that sterilising the soother every time the baby uses it is not necessary unless it falls to the floor or gets dirty. In cases when sterilising is not available, you can simply wash it under running water and avoid cleaning it with your saliva as it may contain antibacterial substances.
