ISDIN® Fotoprotector Baby Pediatrics Fluid Mineral SPF50+ 50ml is a sunscreen for babies from 6 months.

This product provides very high sun protection (SPF 50+) against UVA/UVB rays and indirect UV radiation and absorbs quickly. It is a fluid sunscreen with physical filters specially formulated for children's fragile skin. Suitable for atopic and sensitive skin. For face and body. Protects from indirect sun radiation.

Suitable for the baby's face and body, even for atopic skin. 100% mineral. Hypoallergenic and biodegradable. Pediatric and dermatologically tested.

Instructions for use

  • Apply at least 20 minutes before sun exposure.

  • Apply every 2 hours, after bathing, physical activity or sweating, or as and when necessary.

AQUA (WATER), DICAPRYLYL CARBONATE, DIETHYLHEXYL CARBONATE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, DIBUTYL ADIPATE, TITANIUM DIOXIDE [NANO], ZINC OXIDE [NANO], ALCOHOL DENAT., CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, PEG-30 DIPOLYHYDROXYSTEARATE, NYLON-12, DIMETHICONE, PEG-10 DIMETHICONE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, SILICA, PHENOXYETHANOL, DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, ALLANTOIN, GLYCERYL STEARATE, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, TRIETHOXYCAPRYLYLSILANE, DISODIUM EDTA, SODIUM HYALURONATE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, PEG-8, TOCOPHEROL, ASCORBYL PALMITATE, ASCORBIC ACID, CITRIC ACID.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Using sunscreen is essential to protect and prevent UVA and UVB rays from penetrating the skin. The sun filters included in sunscreen create a barrier on the skin that protects it from irritation, burns, allergies and redness. Babies and infants need special attention, as their skin is not able to fully synthesise melanin and is more fragile. It is especially important to use high protection factor sunscreen with anti-UVA filters that are water-resistant. For sunscreen with maximum effectiveness, it must be applied in appropriate quantities and spread evenly over the entire surface of the skin, applying it every 2 hours, after bathing or sweating.

It is also important to avoid exposure to the sun in the middle of the day (from noon to 16:00) and it is advisable to use dietary supplements to boost sunscreen. Using aftersun is also advisable so that the skin recovers moisture and maintains its natural antioxidants. If you are taking photosensitising medication or have a skin condition, it is particularly important to follow these recommendations. If you develop blisters, fever, or a headache after sun exposure, consult your doctor.
