Description

The Gibaud wrist and finger splint provides immobilization in case of sprains or non-displaced fractures. It is indicated in cases of trauma to long fingers (except for the thumb) caused by a fall or during a bad movement that causes an inversion of the fingers in volleyball, basketball or even handball.
It keeps the hand and finger fixed thanks to its Velcro straps that adapt to the patient's morphology. It is easy to set up.
It maintains the biomechanics of the wrist, i.e. it favours the palmar or dorsal position, making it easy to remove for showering, for example. It comes in 4 different sizes to fit all hands and is washable. It is therefore reusable.

Instructions for use

Depending on the condition and medical recommendation, the splint may be placed in the palmar or dorsal position.
