Measures the temperature quickly and safely

Description

iHealth Start THf Non-contact thermometer is a medical infrared thermometer that effectively measures temperature. Thanks to its infrared technology, the measurement can be made without any contact and in only 1 second. Ergonomic and easy to use, this thermometer is suitable for all family members.

For the measurement of the body temperature, the color LCD (green, orange or red) will give a first indication of the result. Store and recall up to 99 measurements in the device memory. This non-contact thermometer is a class IIA medical device and carries the CE mark under this regulation.

Also suitable for measuring surface or ambient temperature. Ideal for children: it can be used at night without waking you up, by turning off the sound signals. In addition, you can measure the temperature of the bottle or bath water.

Instructions for use

  • When measuring body temperature, the optical sensor should be pointed at the center of the forehead at a distance of 1 to 3 cm. Keep the thermometer in an upright position.

Make sure the forehead is clear. It should not be covered by hair, sweat, cream or any other cosmetics.

Measure the temperature at least three times and make an average.

If the thermometer goes from a very cold place to a very hot place or vice versa, it is recommended to wait 30 minutes to ensure an accurate measurement.

Do not use the thermometer in strong sunlight, water or humidity.

Wait 15 minutes after going out in a warm or cold environment before measuring the temperature.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Exposing thermometers to extreme temperatures or excessive humidity is not advisable, as this may affect measurement accuracy. Leaving the thermometer at room temperature for at least half an hour before use is recommended.

If the thermometer comes into contact with any part of the body (ear, mouth, armpit...), it should be cleaned after use.

Store in a cool, dry place out of children’s reach.
