Deodorant that helps control body odor

Description

Interapothek roll-on deodorant is a personal hygiene product for daily use for underarms. It helps control perspiration and keep skin dry for approximately 24 hours. It is designed to provide a sense of well-being and leave the skin soft to the touch with a natural silk scent. It has a protective action that acts on the bacteria responsible for body odour, thus helping to prevent unpleasant odours.

It contains low amounts of aluminium and farnesol, the latter known to be a natural ingredient that provides a pleasant scent, and at the same time inhibits odour-causing bacteria. It is alcohol free. It has been dermatologically tested. Studies show that it can be applied on all skin types as it is dermocompatible, it does not cause side effects, not even on the most sensitive and atopic skins.

Apply with circular movements on clean and dry skin.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Sweating is a natural mechanism to regulate body temperature, a process that intensifies during physical activity or when feeling nervous. Sweat is made of water, mineral salts and waste substances which, when in contact with the skin microbiota bacteria, are degraded, resulting in an unpleasant odour.

Deodorants or antiperspirants are cosmetics with one of the following functions: blocking some of the sweat glands (aluminium salts), deodorising sweat (flavouring agents), with antiseptic activity (alum mineral) or capable of rebalancing odour-causing microorganisms (pre- and probiotic ingredients). If the skin is irritated, avoid products containing alcohol and opt for soothing and moisturising ingredients instead.

You can find deodorants in several formats. Spray deodorants dry quickly, although they are not recommended if your skin is sensitive or reactive. Stick or roll-on deodorants are easy to apply and provide a feeling of comfort. Cream and soaked wipes allow for application to specific areas of the body with hypersweating issues. Finally, there are also cleansing gels and powders with a deodorant or antiperspirant function.
