INDICATION Class 2 compression stockings are recommended for moderate venous insufficiency: -Varicose veins (with or without functional problems) -Reversible edema -Prevention of thrombosis -Post-surgical in phlebology. Contraindications Absolute contraindications for the use of compression stockings are: -Obliterating arteriopathy of the lower limbs (AOMI) with systolic pressure index (SPI) < 0,6 ; •la microangiopathie diabétique évoluée (pour une compression > 30 mmHg); -Phlegmatia coerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression); -Septic thrombosis Periodic reassessment of the benefit/risk ratio is essential in cases of: -OAMI with SPI between 0.6 and 0.9; - advanced peripheral neuropathy; - exudative or eczematous dermatitis; - intolerance to the fibers used (allergy to one of the components) Precautions for use Do not apply compression stockings directly on damaged skin. In case of doubt, consult your doctor. Care instructions To maintain the effectiveness of the compression stockings, it is recommended to wash them daily. Water allows the fibers to shrink and thus regain their initial effective pressure. We recommend that you machine wash your compression stockings (first few washes separately) with a detergent for delicate fabrics and without fabric softener, at a temperature between 30°C and 40°C. Then dry them away from direct sunlight and heat sources. You can wring out compression stockings without wringing them out. Do not use detergents. Do not iron.
