The Spengler non-contact thermometer is a medical device that measures temperature at a certain distance from the body and surfaces. It works on the premise that heat is radiation. That is, the infrared thermometer quantifies the amount and emission of that radiation in the spectrum, converting it into electrical current and finally into a number. Thus, these useful thermometers do not measure the temperature itself, but the thermal radiation. This precision equipment has three functions for qualified personnel in the health area or for domestic use. Its advanced technology allows to measure the temperature at a distance between 3 and 5cm, avoiding the possibility of cross contamination. Its measurement modes are environmental, surface and body in an instantaneous way. It has 32 memories and is supplied with two batteries (AA).
