Contains material for basic first aid

Description

First aid kit with basic material, for family use in case of everyday accidents at home. It contains eight sterile non-woven compresses, a roll of microporous plaster, a strip of Nylexocrep, a plastic box with 60 assorted dressings, six sachets of antibacterial solution and a bottle of arnica gel for bruises. All the materials are stored in a resistant and practical plastic container.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Arnica (Arnica montana) is a plant with anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antibacterial properties. It has been used topically (on the skin) since ancient times when macerations were made with its flowers as a natural remedy.

Arnica extract relieves muscular discomfort, and small bruises, and is useful in supporting muscle and joint recovery after physical exercise. It also has antiseptic properties.

In cosmetics, it helps to reduce small bruises or swelling after dermatological treatments.

It is not recommended for people who are hypersensitive to plants of the Compositae family. It should not be applied directly to open wounds.

Depending on the concentration, it is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding (except for some cosmetics tested at this stage and with low concentrations). When in doubt, consult a healthcare professional.
