Valentia Medical IIR Surgical Face Mask Blue 50 units are triple layer type IIR surgical face masks that limit the spread of contagion and are resistant to splashes. They have a 25g Spunbond polypropylene blue outer layer, a 25g original meltblown BFE 99% middle layer, a 25g Spunbond polypropylene white inner layer, 3mm plastic coated wire and Nylon Spantex fabric elastics.

They are single use only, non-reusable. They have a life cycle of 4 hours and their filtering properties are reduced after this period of time. Suitable for daily personal use, although they are designed to be used by clinical staff during non-invasive operations, to protect against pathogenic microorganisms and body fluids with a physical barrier. It is a Class I Medical Device (non-sterile).

How to use and put on:

· Wash hands thoroughly before and after use with water and soap or a hydroalcoholic solution.
· Completely cover nose, chin and mouth with the mask, making sure to adjust correctly.
· Avoid touching the mask while in use.
· For comfort and hygiene purposes, a use of no more than 4 hours is recommended.
· If the mask gets wet or shows signs of deterioration, replace with a new one.

How to remove:

· Wash hands with water and soap or a hydroalcoholic solution.
· Remove the mask without touching the front using the ear loops, from behind.
· Wash hands again.

Maintenance and storage:

· Store in a cool and dry place for optimal conservation. Keep out of children’s reach.

Disposal:

· When the recommended hours of use have been exceeded, or if any deterioration of the mask is detected (reduced fit, deformation, wear, etc.), discard in a closed container.
