Compression stockings class 2 (pressure 15-20 mmHg), easy to put on and hold well when worn. Suitable for sensitive skin as the premium CVE (vein elastic compression) products, including the auto-fixing tape, are dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive and/or atopic skin.
They are recommended for moderate venous insufficiency: constituted varicose vein (with or without functional disorders), reversible oedema, prevention of thrombosis, post-surgical period in phlebology. Absolute contraindications for the use of stockings are: oblitreating arteriopathy of the lower limbs (AOMI) with systolic pressure index (SPI) < 0.6, advanced diabetic microangiopathy (for compression > 30 mmHg), phlegmatia coerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression), septic thrombosis. Periodic reassessment of the benefit/risk ratio is necessary in case of: AOMI with ABI between 0.6 and 0.9, advanced peripheral neuropathy, exudative or eczematous dermatosis, intolerance to the fibres used (allergy to one of the components).
