Whole cane sugar from certified organic farming, which is ideal for use as a substitute for traditional white sugar. Panela is obtained without any refining process, only through the crushing of the sugar cane and the subsequent evaporation of its juice by heating, until crystallization, which is why it preserves all the nutritional properties of sugar cane, such as minerals, trace elements and vitamins.
It has a dark colour due to the molasses, and a sticky consistency.
