Algesal foam is an emulsion (oil/water) that, due to the action of the propellant gas, results in the formation of a non-greasy and washable foam, lightly scented, that does not irritate the skin and produces a pleasant sensation of freshness.
Indications: Percutaneous therapy for local pain, including:
- Rheumatic pain
- Joint and muscle pain
- Sprains
- Stiff neck
- Lower back pain
- Others of similar nature
In addition, it incorporates in its composition Mirtecaine (DCI) lauryl sulfate. This active ingredient significantly reduces the surface tension of the skin, accelerating its penetration and enhancing that of Diethylamine salicylate.
It allows for an optimal concentration of active ingredients to be delivered to the painful area, achieving a rapid and effective reduction of pain.
