Description

Japanese paste of pitted umeboshi plums fermented with sea salt. They promote good digestion and help prevent constipation. Recommended for seasoning dishes, they provide a sour and spicy flavour. They can be used in meats, rice, sauces and dressings. Plums contain citric acid, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium and lots of iron. The acid in the umeboshi is neutralized with salt and a balanced taste is obtained. With purifying and antioxidant properties. Made with ingredients from organic farming. Suitable for vegans.
