Description

It is a care product that combines antioxidant, anti-spot and sunscreen (UVB-UVA) active ingredients to prevent or reduce brown spots and protect the skin from photo-induced ageing on a daily basis. It is indicated for sensitized areas after superficial dermatological procedures (laser, peeling, etc...). It is an anti-spot photoprotective care against UVB and UVA rays. Stabilized vitamin C compensates the oxidative stress of the skin due to UV radiation responsible for photoaging. Diacetyl Boldine reduces brown spots and evens out the complexion. Its texture is easy to apply, non-greasy, non-sticky, fragrance-free and colourless (no white effect). Tested under dermatological control.

Apply in the morning to the affected areas.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Melanin is the biopolymer responsible for skin and hair colour and is produced by melanocytes, cells located at the base of the epidermis and in the hair follicle. Sometimes, this melanin accumulates in certain areas of the dermis, resulting in skin spots, which are usually darker than the rest of the skin. The most common are called solar lentigines, caused by ongoing exposure to the sun, but there are also other types, such as melasma or actinic keratosis.

How can we prevent the appearance of skin spots? The first (and most important) preventive measure we should take is using good sunscreen. Ideally with a high protection factor, which helps to block the action of UVA-UVB rays on the skin. It is also especially advisable to avoid exposure to the sun during the central hours of the day and to use accessories such as sunglasses or hats to avoid the direct impact of the sun.

Following a facial routine specifically designed for blemish-prone skin is very important to prevent the appearance or reproduction of blemishes. Anti-blemish cosmetics often contain exfoliating and depigmenting ingredients that help to soften the pigmentation and help to even out skin tone. A good facial care routine starts with an anti-spot serum to boost the action of your usual cream. Active ingredients such as Vitamin C, Glycolic Acid, Niacin or Cholic Acid are perfect for treating this type of skin. If you notice unusual looking spots or of unknown causes, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist. If your skin has actinic keratosis or many nevi (moles), you must go for a medical check-up to get them checked.
