Ecological deodorant made of alum stone. Alum stone is a mineral composed mainly of aluminium and potassium. This mineral is commonly used as a deodorant, either in powder or stone form. This stone is of natural origin, it does not contain alcohol or perfume or other chemical compounds that are added to deodorants.
Sweating is a natural mechanism to regulate body temperature, a process that intensifies during physical activity or when feeling nervous. Sweat is made of water, mineral salts and waste substances which, when in contact with the skin microbiota bacteria, are degraded, resulting in an unpleasant odour.
Deodorants or antiperspirants are cosmetics with one of the following functions: blocking some of the sweat glands (aluminium salts), deodorising sweat (flavouring agents), with antiseptic activity (alum mineral) or capable of rebalancing odour-causing microorganisms (pre- and probiotic ingredients).
