Orthotic device used for postoperative immobilization, thumb trauma or instability of the joints and ligaments of the thumb and wrist. In splint form, it provides firm support for the palmar area, up to the beginning of the forearm, while allowing the hand to retain most of its grip function, either before or after possible surgery. It can also be used after cast removal to preserve muscles and joints when gradually resuming sporting activity.
