Description

Thanks to its innovative technology, a thermoformable product is offered for the treatment of fractures and other traumatic injuries of the wrist and thumb, its solution is a real alternative to casts and resins. The wrist-thumb splint immobilises the spine of the thumb, thermoformable according to the patient's morphology, this removable orthosis can be easily removed.

It is indicated for rhizarthrosis, mild wrist sprain, mild to moderate sprain of the thumb spine and simple fracture of the thumb spine. Its exclusive "boa" tightening system makes it adjustable. Waterproof, it is suitable for showering or bathing as well as for any aquatic activity, such as swimming. Radiolucent, this orthosis allows X-rays to be taken and the evolution of a fracture to be followed without removing it. Supplied in size L for the right hand.

Instructions for use

Correctly selected according to the sizing system and adjusted with the modular strap, an easy tightening system. The orthosis can be washed and then dried when necessary. Quick-drying is possible with a hairdryer. Heating time 5 minutes in a special oven which softens it slightly and facilitates its "moulding" on the patient's wrist. Must be thermoformed in an Exos oven.
