Helps treat symptoms related to dry eyes

Description

Ophthalmic drops made to help relieve symptoms related to dry eyes, such as itchy eyes, feeling of irritation, grit and stinging. It is formulated with two humectants which are hyaluronic acid 0.13% and hydroxyethylcellulose 0.10%. Its use is also compatible in the moisturising and rewetting of all types of contact lenses.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Hyaluronic acid is able to absorb up to 1,000 times its own weight in water. It is therefore a very interesting ingredient for combating dry eyes. Its moisturising effect acts on the cornea and helps to lubricate the eye, compensating for the lack of tear production. This is why hyaluronic acid is considered to be one of the most powerful moisturisers, capable of alleviating dry eye issues. On the other hand, it is also a useful substance as an adjuvant in some eye infections such as conjunctivitis, irritation, inflammation or other common problems such as sties.
