Deodorant with alum stone

Description

Deodorants, particularly antiperspirants, are often questioned for containing aluminum salts. If natural products are your thing, you may have heard of alternatives, such as alum stones. Do they work? Are they safer?

Sweating is a physiological function, necessary for our body. When you sweat....

  • We eliminate waste substances and toxins.
  • We were able to maintain the pH of the body surface.
  • The horny layer of our skin remains hydrated.
  • We regulate the body temperature.

In addition, sweat is odorless: odor occurs when body bacteria act to degrade it.

The ideal deodorant should be able to control sweating without completely blocking natural perspiration;

Here we introduce you to Koronis Thaivas deodorant with 60g alum stone, its operation is very simple;

In the dry state, alum stones remain neutral, but in contact with water or damp skin from sweating and in an acidic medium (such as sweat) alum dissolves and releases aluminium ions. The pores are thus blocked, achieving the expected effect of an antiperspirant.

Instructions for use

Apply to dry armpits and wait to see the effect;

Pharmaceutical Advice

Sweating is a natural mechanism to regulate body temperature, a process that intensifies during physical activity or when feeling nervous. Sweat is made of water, mineral salts and waste substances which, when in contact with the skin microbiota bacteria, are degraded, resulting in an unpleasant odour.

Deodorants or antiperspirants are cosmetics with one of the following functions: blocking some of the sweat glands (aluminium salts), deodorising sweat (flavouring agents), with antiseptic activity (alum mineral) or capable of rebalancing odour-causing microorganisms (pre- and probiotic ingredients). If the skin is irritated, avoid products containing alcohol and opt for soothing and moisturising ingredients instead.

You can find deodorants in several formats. Spray deodorants dry quickly, although they are not recommended if your skin is sensitive or reactive. Stick or roll-on deodorants are easy to apply and provide a feeling of comfort. Cream and soaked wipes allow for application to specific areas of the body with hypersweating issues. Finally, there are also cleansing gels and powders with a deodorant or antiperspirant function.
