Description

Shiso powder is a traditional Japanese condiment obtained by grinding shiso leaves previously dried in the sun. Like the famous umeboshi, shiso leaves have a long maturation process. They are characterized by a slightly sour and salty taste and are ideal for seasoning cereal-based dishes, salads or to prepare sauces mixed with sunflower seeds, sesame. May contain traces of soya and gluten. Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture.

Instructions for use

Spread in small quantities on cereal and vegetable dishes.

Composition

Dried shiso leaves (Perilla frutescens) (49%), sea salt, Ume plum vinegar (Ume plum (70.8%), shico leaves (Perilla frutescens) (17.7%), sea salt (11.5%).
