Listerine Menthol Mouthwash 2x1L is a mouthwash for after brushing that promotes deep oral hygiene, as it reaches those areas where the toothbrush does not reach. Additionally, it provides protection against plaque and helps reduce it, and helps eliminate the bacteria that cause bad breath. Its formula has a menthol flavour, which provides fresh breath. Suitable for adults and children from 12 years old.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Menthol is a compound extracted from plants such as peppermint (Mentha x Piperita) and can also be manufactured synthetically. As an ingredient in gels, creams and lotions for topical application, it has a well-known cooling effect, as well as being a mild antiseptic and analgesic. These properties make it suitable for mitigating joint and muscle discomfort in the context of exercise or daily wellness.

It is also used as an ingredient in cosmetics that can help to refresh and soothe the itching caused by eczema or dermatitis. In hair products, such as shampoos, it provides freshness.
