Description

Gel specially designed to care for the baby's genital area, thanks to its neutral pH that helps to balance the pH of the area. Its formula is enriched with prebiotic agents that produce comfort and protect the bacterial flora, reducing the risk of infections. It contains moisturising and softening agents that prevent dehydration and the consequent unwanted symptoms.

Instructions for use

Apply on the area to be cleaned, previously moistened and rinse thoroughly with water.

Pharmaceutical Advice

pH is important when formulating body hygiene cosmetics. In the vaginal and vulvar area, a healthy pH range in women of childbearing age is remarkably acidic (between 3.8 and 4.5), thanks to the presence of lactic acid produced by the genus Lactobacillus bacteria. This acidic pH acts as a natural defence against other pathogenic bacteria and fungi growth. However, during the pre-pubescence stage, it is normal for the pH to be more neutral, i.e. higher. This is why it is recommended that, during infancy, the cleanser used for the external genital area should be specific and formulated with a compatible pH. This type of cleanser also provides comfort in case of mild vulvar irritation or discomfort.
