Description

It is a dietary supplement developed by Meritene, whose presentation is two boxes of 15 sachets. This dietary supplement provides a high caloric and protein value to children from one year of age. Its chocolate flavour makes infants enjoy drinking a glass of this shake. It also provides minerals and vitamins, with the amount of doses sufficient for each day. Depending on the age of the child, you can take more or less amount of this supplement.

For one year old children it is recommended to prepare half a sachet. In case of others older than five years, one sachet per day will be enough. In children over nine years old, up to two sachets per day will be needed to receive the necessary nutrients that this product abuses. It is contraindicated for children allergic to lactose.

Instructions for use

Pour the amount indicated according to age into 200ml of milk and whisk.

Potassium (670 mg), Calcium (453 mg), Vitamin A (422 μg), Phosphorus (375 mg), Folic acid (190 μg), Magnesium (85 mg), Vitamin K (45 μg), Vitamin C (30 mg), Lactose (17 g), Niacin (7.5 mg), Zinc (6.6 mg), Iron (4.7 mg), Vitamin E (4.7 mg), Vitamin D (4.6 μg), Pantothenic acid (2.4 mg), Vitamin B12 (1.5 μg), Vitamin B6 (1 mg), Vitamin B2 (0.8 mg), Vitamin B1 (0.6 mg), Fluoride (0.6 mg).

Pharmaceutical Advice

Zinc has great benefits for the immune system, hair and skin. It is a trace mineral, meaning that the body needs it but in small amounts.

It is an important supplement for DNA synthesis, cell growth, protein synthesis, healing of damaged tissues and supports a healthy immune system.

It also promotes keratin and collagen synthesis, so it helps to prevent premature hair aging and even protects hair pigmentation. It also helps to strengthen hair and nails.
Include it in your diet by eating meat, fish, seafood (especially oysters), nuts, whole grains, pulses and/or milk.

A varied and balanced diet is usually enough to maintain a good level of zinc; supplementation is only recommended in cases of deficiency.
