Exposing thermometers to extreme temperatures or excessive humidity is not advisable, as this may affect measurement accuracy. Leaving the thermometer at room temperature for at least half an hour before use is recommended.
If the thermometer comes into contact with any part of the body (ear, mouth, armpit...), it should be cleaned after use.
Store in a cool, dry place out of children’s reach.
I had that thermometer and bought another one because it is fast and works very well. But in this one the beep when it finishes measuring the temperature is practically inaudible.
