Description

These are organically grown cocoa beans that have been used in Central America since ancient times for their medicinal properties. The minerals they provide include iron, potassium, magnesium and copper. They contain anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins, polyphenols and catechins. All of them have antioxidant properties and help to maintain blood sugar levels. They are also characterised as an anti-inflammatory with cardioprotective effects.
