Consult your doctor if you are undergoing treatment to reduce cholesterol levels. This dietary supplement should be used as part of a balanced and varied diet that includes regular consumption of fruits and vegetables to help maintain carotenoid levels. The daily amount of 3 mg of monacolin from fermented red yeast rice or more should not be consumed. It should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and adolescents under 18 years old, or adults over 70 years old. If you experience any health issues, consult your doctor about consuming this product. It should not be consumed alongside medication to reduce cholesterol. It should not be consumed if other products containing fermented red yeast rice are already being taken. Not recommended for individuals on anticoagulant treatment or for women with a personal history of breast cancer. Store the container tightly closed in a cool, dry place.
