Description

Nutribén® 3 is a very digestible powdered milk formula for your baby that better suits their needs. CHARACTERISTICS From 1 to 3 years, your baby does not eat like an adult and their daily milk intake should be between 500 and 800 ml. ESPGHAN specialists recommend delaying the use of cow's milk until the age of 3 and prefer an infant formula that is less rich in protein than cow's milk (twice as much and therefore much more digestible), richer in iron (an essential element to prevent iron deficiency anaemia) and less fatty. Cow's milk is low in vitamins and minerals such as zinc, copper, selenium and vitamin C. Its sodium content appears to be 2 to 3 times higher than that of breast milk. Therefore, it does not meet your baby's needs at this age. In response, it is advisable to use Nutribén® 3, which provides essential fatty acids for your baby while limiting or delaying the risks of allergy, particularly to cow's milk proteins.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Breast milk is the best food for babies. If providing it is not possible or if it is insufficient, the paediatrician is the best healthcare professional to advise on the most suitable type of milk for infants.
