It is a vegetable oil used for a wide range of cosmetic uses. It is recognised for its benefits that help the face, hair, beard, eyelashes, eyebrows and nails. It helps to stimulate hair growth and restore hair, improve complexion appearance and texture, and reduce acne.

Instructions for use

Cutaneous application: Apply 1 to 2 drops of castor oil on the nails, massaging to penetration. It is recommended to repeat 2 to 3 times a week for better efficiency. At night, before bedtime, it can be applied to the eyebrows and eyelashes with a cotton stick or a clean and dry eyelashes brush. It can also be used on the skin: apply a few drops in dry and damaged areas. Preferably dilute 50% in another vegetable oil.

Capillary application: It is possible to use the castor oil by making a hair mask on dry and unbelievable hair. It is important to insist on the tips, then gently massage the scalp. Leave act for at least 1 hour, or all night, then wash with shampoo. Being very viscous, castor oil can be diluted in another vegetable oil, 50% for example.

Composition

RICINUS COMMUNIS SEED OIL.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Castor oil comes from the seeds of the castor plant (Ricinus communis) and is widely used as an ingredient in cosmetics. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties provided by its very rich fatty acid and vitamin E content. It offers several possibilities for use, especially for skin and hair care. It is the base of cosmetic formulations such as lipsticks and nourishing serums to maintain the healthy growth of eyelashes and eyebrows. In hair care products, it moisturises, protects and repairs dry and damaged hair.

Applied as a pure oil and topically, it deeply nourishes the skin, as well as brittle nails and cuticles. It is purely plant-based (and has nothing to do with a substance used in the past, which was extracted from the secretions of the beaver). Avoid applying pure oil to sensitive areas such as eyes and mucous membranes.
