Orliman thermoplastic articulated elbow orthosis, consisting of a brace that goes between the humerus and forearm holding the joint preventing it from being released. It has a device that prevents the movement of flexion and extension of the elbow, blocking and adjusting it, incorporates polyester or polypropylene straps to hold the immobiliser that can be adjusted to the desired size. Internally made of thermoplastic polyethylene foam, providing the feeling of padding.
Its manufacture provides the ability to minimize any movement immobilising the joint, keeping it firm for the indicated time, also provides stabilization and the possibility that in case of suffering any strong movement back to the desired position. Among its functions is to join one element to another and compress the affected segment of the patient.
