This Orliman orthosis is specially designed for children. It consists of a belt and two unidirectional elastic straps with silicone tubercles on the inner side, to improve anatomical grip. The elastic straps are designed to correct inward rotation of the left and/or right leg. It provides spiral traction from the medial side of the foot to the waist, correcting the lower leg, thigh and hip joint in the correct direction. This provides greater joint stability and proprioception of the body pattern, as well as proper alignment of the lower extremities. If outward rotation is required, the left and right straps should be reversed. Secured with durable micro hook-and-loop fasteners. Provides functional gait and greater independence, as well as improved balance.
