This immobilising glove is a hand orthosis manufactured by Orliman. It is recommended for use in patients who have suffered an injury or fracture of the fingers. A specialist may recommend it to immobilise the metacarpophalangeal joints in a certain position. The use of this immobilising glove promotes faster recovery and also protects the hand and fingers. Each finger is fixed independently of the other.
This glove has been made with a breathable material that allows thermal regulation of the hand. The inside is knitted with skin-friendly material. Avoid use if there are open wounds or swelling in the areas of application. The micro-hook closure regulates the required compression of the glove on the hand.
