Immobilisation and trunk protection orthosis

Description

This is an orthosis which serves as a tilting hyperextension and is produced by Orliman. It can immobilise the trunk of the body and works as a protection system after surgery. It has three support points, which are suprapubic, pectoral and dorsolumbar. In addition, it has been manufactured in a very light aluminum structure, has a sternal plate that allows the person to move anywhere without difficulty. It is a product suitable in cases of vertebrae fractures, or when these suffer crushing. It also has some padded plates, which allow greater comfort. It also has a pelvic band that has the possibility of being fixed or tilting; this, in order to adapt to the different kinds of positions that the patient could have.
