It is designed with resistant material and a pad inside for comfort. It also has a specialised material to prevent sweating. Its use is not recommended for people with sensitive skin. Nor if they have any wound in the area of the hand, wrist or fingers that can become infected in contact with the splint. Given its characteristics, it allows to modify the posture at the discretion of the treating physician due to its adaptable material thanks to the opening and closing tabs.
