Helps in case of deviations and rhizarthrosis

Description

Postural splint for the thumb designed by Orliman. It is made of thermoplastic with a Plastazote lining. It incorporates a closure system with Velcro straps for a proper fit on the wrist. It can be moulded with a hot air gun to adapt it to the patient's needs (as long as it is done by an orthopaedic technician). It exerts a relief effect and provides support to the trapeziometacarpal joint.
It is specially designed to keep the thumb in a functional position. It is recommended to prevent deviations that occur due to rheumatic problems and during rhizarthrosis of the thumb. For maximum effectiveness, it is advisable to use the appropriate size and adjust the compression to the optimum degree. It is advisable to keep this product away from heat sources. The material is hypoallergenic and complies with quality standards.
