Description

One of the most common problems in hair is the presence of dandruff. Although it occurs naturally since accumulated dead cells detached from the scalp, sometimes dandruff becomes one bigger problem, since it accumulates in excess causing an emotional tension, itching and discomfort.

OTC Allopecium anti-dandruff shampoo is uniquely suited for hygiene and protection of scalps with presence of dandruff, providing hygiene need, respecting the hair and helping to control the presence of dandruff.

Instructions for use

Apply OTC Allopecium shampoo for dandruff on the scalp moist, by performing a soft massage to create foam. Rinse and repeat the wash.

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
