Description

Benzoil peroxide, the active ingredient in this medication, has antimicrobial and sebostatic (oil-regulating) activity, and is capable of stopping the growth of Propionibacterium acne, the microorganism that causes acne.

 

Peroxiben is indicated for the symptomatic local treatment of moderate vulgar acne in adults and adolescents from 12 years old.
