Organic vegetable oils for seasoning
CHARACTERISTICS
Choosing a seasoning oil is not a trivial matter. Although vegetable oils are excellent sources of lipids, they do not all have the same nutritional value. Escofine offers vegetable oils that are sources of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. In particular, they contribute to the recommended daily intake of alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3 family), which is 2 g per day for men and 1.8 g per day for women. - Rapeseed oil: Provides 7 g of alpha-linolenic acid per 100 ml. 2 tablespoons per day provide 1.4 g of alpha-linolenic acid. Use as a condiment or in cooking: ANSES* has authorized the heating of rapeseed oil at a moderate temperature (160° maximum). - Olive oil: This staple of Mediterranean cuisine is rich in oleic acid (omega 9), a monounsaturated fatty acid. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet helps maintain normal cholesterol levels.
