They are recommended for moderate venous insufficiency: Varicose veins (with or without functional disorders). Reversible ooedema and prevention of thrombosis. The post-surgical period in phlebology. Contraindications are arteriopathy oblitreate of lower limbs (AOMI) with systolic pressure index (SPI) < 0.6, advanced diabetic microangiopathy (for compression > 30 mmHg), phlegmatic coerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression) and septic thrombosis.
Periodic reassessment of the benefit/risk ratio is necessary in case of AOMI with ABI between 0.6 and 0.9, advanced peripheral neuropathy, exudative or eczematous dermatosis, intolerance to the fibres used (allergy to one of the components).
