Description

As a reference in medical compression, the Sigvaris Diaphane compression tights combine therapeutic effectiveness, comfort, aesthetics, and durability. They are aimed at the refined woman who seeks to care for herself while remaining beautiful and elegant, and who appreciates timeless products that are less affected by rapid changes in trends. CHARACTERISTICS They offer optimal comfort and a wide choice of models and colours to be worn throughout the year. The Sigvaris Diaphane compression tights are the benchmark compression garment; the microfibre is transparent, soft, comfortable, and very elegant. It is a quality product that will satisfy you. INDICATION Wearing class 2 compression tights is recommended for moderate venous insufficiency: • Established varicose veins (with or without functional disorders) • Reversible oedema • Prevention of thrombosis • Post-surgical period in phlebology. Contraindications The absolute contraindications for wearing compression tights are: • Obstructive arterial disease of the lower limbs (PAD) with systolic pressure index (SPI) < 0.6; • Advanced diabetic microangiopathy (for compression > 30 mmHg); • Phlegmasia cerulea dolens (painful blue phlebitis with arterial compression); • Septic thrombosis Regular re-evaluation of the benefit/risk ratio is necessary in case of: • PAD with SPI between 0.6 and 0.9; • Advanced peripheral neuropathy; • Weeping dermatitis or eczematous skin; • Intolerance to the fibres used (allergy to one of the components). Precautions for use Do not apply the compression tights directly to broken skin. If in doubt, contact your doctor. Care instructions To maintain the effectiveness of the compression tights, it is recommended to wash them daily. Indeed, water allows the fibres to contract and thus regain their initial effective pressure. It is advisable to machine wash the compression tights (separately during the first washes) with a detergent for delicate textiles and without fabric softener, between 30 °C and 40 °C. Then dry them away from sunlight and any heat source. You have the option to spin your compression tights without twisting them!
