Description

Treets massage oil, made from natural oils, vitamins C and E. It is free of SLS, SLES, parabens, silicones, dyes and mineral oils. The formula of this oil has been conceived so that the product can be absorbed gradually and uniformly, so it favours a relaxing massage while it is being applied. It provides smoothness and softness to the skin, and restores its vitality and natural shine. Treets products are characterized by the high quality of their ingredients and by an ecological elaboration. The Revitalising Ceremonies line uses natural fragrances such as thyme and other plants with properties that help to invigorate the body. At the same time, however, they care for the structure of the skin and promote cell regeneration.

Instructions for use

Apply directly to the skin and spread with hands until absorbed.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Parfum (Fragrance), Thymus (Thyme) Serpillum Oil, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flower Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Citronellol, Limonene.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is a plant in the Asteraceae family that is used in skin care for its beneficial properties. Also known as pot marigold, it is high in anti-inflammatory substances and antioxidants (flavonoids). It also has antiseptic properties and contributes effectively to heal small wounds and superficial lesions.

This ingredient is mostly used externally in lotions, creams, balms and liquid extracts. Its soothing and moisturising properties make calendula perfect for oily, combination and sensitive skin. It can also be found in the formulation of facial toners (it provides antibacterial action and alleviates the aggressions caused by the sun's rays) and is also emollient and helps to maintain the softness of the most delicate and fine skin. This is why it is present in creams to relieve nappy rashes.

Calendula is also used, although less frequently, as an ingredient in dietary supplements. Its antioxidant carotenoid content supports eye health and counteracts free radical damage, delaying cellular ageing. If in doubt when using a product that contains calendula, consult a professional.
