Wrist immobilisation orthosis with two integrated side straps, a removable palmar strap and three stabilising straps to provide a proper fit and good stability to the patient. The microfibre fabric, the materials covering the straps and the seamless thumb opening provide comfort for the patient. This orthosis is a medical device indicated to relieve stresses applied to the wrist joint for the following situations: Post-traumatic treatment after moderate to severe distortions (sprains), active osteoarthritis and/or arthritis of the wrist, inflammation of the hand tendon (tendonitis) and/or tendon sheath (tendovaginitis), follow-up treatment of wrist fractures after surgery or casting, stage I complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), early carpal tunnel syndrome, and instability and functional overload of the wrist. Model provided with laterality, to be placed on the right wrist.
